Heritage interpretation is a communi- cation strategy, and if used correctly provokes thought and encourages critical spirit, a feeling of identity and emotional at- tachment to heritage. The quest for the generation of thought among the public is inherent in the concept of heritage interpretation. It should not be forgotten that the ultimate goal of any good interpretation is to foster attitudes favouring heritage preservation and social transfor- mation . It is therefore necessary to highlight the importance of the message conveyed as one of the criteria for selecting a best practice. The use of imaginative, inclusive, and transformative communication, offering new visions and readings of heritage, away from preconceptions, is particularly valued.
