The industry at Fors - viks bruk closed in 1977, after six hundred years of production, and about a decade later the buildings were cared for and are now listed as built heritage, hosting a mu- seum and cultural venues. Located by lake Viken’s outlet into Bottensjön, ten kilo- metres from Karlsborg on the shores of lake Vättern.
